Jetty East Rental Policy

Welcome Home! Please take a moment to review Jetty East's rental policies. This important information will be helpful when booking your reservation and enjoying your stay. These condominium units are owned by private individuals, not unlike yourself, who take pride in welcoming you to their homes. Please respect this property and the amenities provided for your enjoyment as you would your own. And, please remember that damage and last minute cancellations hurt individuals, not large corporations.

Check-in and Checkout Times
Check-in time is after 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time is no later than 10:00 a.m.
Every effort is made for your reserved unit to be ready at check-in time. However, due to the high standards for cleanliness and the wish that your stay will be as enjoyable as possible, your reserved unit may not be ready at check-in time. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the pool, beach, pavilion and other amenities during this time.

A late check out fee of $100 may be charged to the credit card on file if you have not vacated the unit in a timely manner.


Rates
Rates are subject to change and availability without notice. Higher rates may apply during holiday periods and weekends. Deposit requirements, final payment policies and length of stay are subject to change. Management reserves the right to change unit assignments.

Maximum Occupancy
1 Bedroom - 4 Persons
2 Bedroom - 6 Persons
3 Bedroom - 8 Persons
4 Bedroom - 10 Persons

Persons allowing more than the number stated as Maximum Occupancy above will be subject to eviction, reimbursement to Jetty East for damages and loss of rent!

Age Requirement
Jetty East is a family-oriented condo. Our regulations do not allow us to rent space to persons under the age of 25 - unless registered and accompanied by parents during the entire rental period. Reservations obtained under false pretensions will not be honored, and will be subject to loss of deposit.

Falsified Reservation
Reservations obtained under false pretensions will not be honored, and will be subject to loss of deposit, reimbursement for damages to Jetty East and loss of rent. Subletting is not permitted.

Pets
Sorry, although we know you love your pets (and we do too!) guests are not allowed to bring pets in the rental units or on the property.

Beach
Jetty East boasts one of the largest beaches in the area. Beach umbrellas and chairs are available to rent or bring your own. Sorry, tents and canopies or similar items are not permitted on the beach.

DAILY AND WEEKLY RENTALS:
 
Minimum stay is three (3) nights. Some units or certain dates may require a Saturday to Saturday seven (7) night stay. Rates are subject to change and availability. Deposit requirements, final payment policies and length of stay are subject to change.

Deposit
A $292.40 advance rent deposit is required at the time of making your reservation, payable with Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Damages to property will be charged to this credit card account. Unless notified otherwise, as authorized per your reservation deposit confirmation, your final payment balance will also be charged to this credit card per the Final Payment policy below.

Final Payment
Final payment of the remaining balance for your reservation is due on or before 5:00 p.m. Central Time (Destin time) 30 days prior to your arrival date. Unless notified otherwise, the credit card you provided for your deposit will be charged the remaining final payment balance as authorized per your reservation deposit confirmation Final payment may be made via MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or personal check. Refunds will not be given after final payment is made. If final payment is not received by Jetty East on or before 5:00 p.m. Central Time (Destin time) on the due date stated above, the reservation will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation notice is required 30 days or more prior to arrival date for daily and weekly rentals. A $50 processing fee will be applied to your account and the balance refunded.

Cancellations less than 30 days prior to your arrival date are non-refundable.

Changes to Reservation
Changes may be made to your reservation before final payment is due, but will be subject to a $50 change fee charged to the credit card you provided at deposit. If you upgrade to a more expensive unit, this fee may be waived at Management's discretion.

Changes to your reservation, other than extending your stay, are not permitted after final payment.

Cancellation
It is strongly encouraged that all guests purchase CSA Travel Protection Insurance. Jetty East does not give refunds for Man-Made and/or Technological disasters.

CSA Travel Protection Insurance
The insurance premium is 6.95% of your total reservation amount and can be added at the time of booking. To file a claim with CSA Travel Insurance call 800-554-9839.

Hurricanes/Tropical Storms
No refunds will be made due to Hurricanes or Tropical Storms, even in the event of mandatory evacuations. Refunds for Hurricanes or Tropical evacuations are only given through CSA Travel Protection Insurance.
 
MONTHLY RENTALS:
 
Deposit
A $392.40 advance rent deposit is required at the time of making your reservation, payable with Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Cash. Damages to property will be charged to this credit card account. Unless notified otherwise, final payment will also be charged to this credit card per the Final Payment policy below.

Payments
Payment of your first month's rent is due on or before 5:00 p.m. Central Time (Destin time) 30 days prior to your arrival date. Payment of subsequent monthly rent is due on the first of the month. If additional months, weeks or days are added to your reservation, payment for those dates are due upon making the reservation. Unless we are notified otherwise, the credit card you provided for your deposit will be charged the remaining final payment balance as authorized per your reservation deposit confirmation Monthly payments may be made via MasterCard, Visa, Discover, personal check or cash in person only. Refunds will not be given after final payment is made. If first month's rent is not received by Jetty East on or before 5:00 p.m. Central Time (Destin time) on the due date, the reservation will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited.

Changes may be made to your reservation before your first month's rent payment is due, but will be subject to a $50 change fee charged to the credit card you provided at deposit. Any changes made to your reservation is considered a cancellation and result in the loss of your deposit.

Damage to Property
Guests are liable for any and all damage they cause to the unit, damaged or missing personal property of the unit or damage to resort property. If damage is so extensive to a unit or if the guest does not check out on-time that the unit will not be available to rent after standard cleaning upon the guest's departure, the guest may also be liable to Jetty East for lost rent.

We have a Vacation Rental Damage Waiver of $40 plus tax required on each reservation with us. This fee is designed to cover accidental damages to the rental unit interior that may occur during your stay. This fee will cover a maximum benefit of $1,500. Any damages that exceed $1,500, are not covered, or are intentional will be charged to the credit card on file.  This fee is non-refundable.

Travel Protection

Safeguard your trip with CSA Travel Protection. We offer optional Travel Insurance through CSA Insurance. Travel protection is highly recommended, it offers coverage against trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel delays and more. Please be aware that guests opting to not purchase travel protection coverage will not receive a refund after final payment is made for any changes to your reservation or cancellations for any unforeseen developments such as illnesses, natural disasters, late arrivals or no shows. Therefore, the cost of your entire trip could be lost.  If you have questions about coverage, please contact CSA at 866-999-4018.

Jetty East offers guests the opportunity to purchase Travel Insurance offered by CSA at the time of booking up to your making your final payment.

Jetty East guests are also able to purchase travel insurance from any vendor they choose.

No Daily Maid Service
While linens, bath/kitchen towels and many other items are included in your unit for your comfort, maid service is not included in your rental rate. It is suggested that you bring beach towels, shampoo, soaps, etc. Towels or linens are not allowed to be taken from the unit except for the scheduled linen exchange described in your welcome packet.

Cleaning Fee
All reservations require a one time departure clean fee.
The clean fee applies to each unit booked and varies depending on the size of the unit.


Parking
Both covered and uncovered parking is available on the private, gated parking lot. Under the building- parking spaces shall not be used for any purpose except parking of passenger vehicles. Passenger vehicles are defined as those vehicles used primarily for transportation of passengers such as cars, vans, trucks, or modified self-propelled vehicles that can be parked with adequate clearance in a standard 9' x 19' parking space. Specifically excluded are trailers or non-mechanically powered vehicles of any type.
During busy dates, Management reserves the right to limit the availability of on-site parking of boats, trailers, personal watercraft, recreational vehicles, etc. Please check with the front desk personnel prior to your arrival date for current restrictions.

Personal water craft, boats, trailers, jet-skis, wave runners, trailers and recreational vehicles are prohibited from parking on the property during the three peak holiday months. This policy applies to all rental guests. Specifically, these vehicles must be parked elsewhere between the Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day Monday.

All vehicles must display proper identification while on the property. Drivers must obey all posted signs and shall observe the 10 mph speed limit. Recreational vehicles or motor homes will not be used for sleeping in the Jetty East parking areas.

Agency Disclosure
Jetty East Rental Association serves as the agent and representative of owners of the condominium units participating in Jetty East's rental program and acts at all times in and for the best interest of those owners.
